Today I received a check from one of my favorite sites, InboxDollars.com for $40, bringing my grand total of earnings from Inbox Dollars up to $150. That might not seem like a lot, but the best thing about Inbox Dollars is just how little effort it takes, especially if you know which tasks to complete and which ones not to worry with. Today I am going to focus on showing you some of my personal favorite ways to earn a little extra cash on Inbox Dollars.
Bonuses
By far the easiest money to earn on Inbox Dollars comes from the occasional bonuses that are awarded. There are two primary bonuses available, a one time Sign Up Bonus for $5, and an additional Cash Out Bonus of $3 every time to request a check from Inbox Dollars. The minimum amount you need to cash out is $30, but when you go to cash out they will try and charge you a $3 processing fee, but there is a way to waive this fee. If you manage to get to at least $40 within 30 days of requesting a check, Inbox Dollars will send you your check without charging you the fee, effectively amounting to an extra $3 Cash Out Bonus. It might seem difficult to reach an extra $10 in a month on Inbox Dollars, depending on how active you are, so the trick I always use is to wait until I have $35 in my account before I request to cash out. I then accept the offer and only have to get an extra $5 which I have no problem doing.Paid E-Mails
Paid e-mails are the staple of Inbox Dollars, as evidenced by the site's name. These e-mails get sent to the e-mail address you used to sign up, but can also be viewed from your profile on the main site. All you have to do is click on a link at the bottom of the e-mail and your account will be credited $0.02 for every e-mail you read. I typically receive 3-5 e-mails per day, and it only takes a few seconds to click the link and then close out of the tab.Web Search
Searching the web is another great earner for me on Inbox Dollars. By using the search bar on the main website and clicking on one of the results for your search you are given half a cent per search (rounded up at the end of the day) up to a maximum of $0.15 per day. In addition, if you use the search bar for 4 or more days in a week, your account is given a bonus. I always get a full 30 searches in every day, usually just going through a dictionary and searching for the definitions of random words, just to get the easy cash. The search results are pretty poor, so I wouldn't replace my main search engine with it, but I have no problem spending a few minutes each day to get some extra money in my account.Groupon
The partnership with Groupon is a new one, but really great, especially if you already buy from the local deals site. You earn $0.50 from any offer that costs less than $20, and $5 cash back from any offer greater than $20. I wouldn't buy a deal just for the cash back, but if you were already planning on buying a deal on Groupon, go through Inbox Dollars and get some easy cash back.Offers
Offers on Inbox Dollars can be really hit or miss, so be sure to read the details carefully. Still, they can be one of the best earners with deals ranging from $0.10 to join a mailing list, to $1 to get an auto insurance quote, to $20 for applying for a credit card. Some offers are free, others are not, so the basic rule applies: if an offer costs money only get it if you were planning on buying the product anyway.Coupons
If you already print out coupons from sites like coupons.com, then this is a great offer for you. Not only can you save a ton of money on your grocery bill, but for every coupon you print and use from Inbox Dollars your account will be credited $0.10. It can take a while for the credit to post to your account, but this is a great way to earn money with little effort.Surveys
Surveys can range from $0.25 to $5, though most are around $0.50 and take 20-30 minutes to complete. For every survey you attempt, whether you are able to complete the survey or not, also gives you a Spin to Win token, which can be a bonus of sweepstakes entries, $0.25 bonus on your next survey, or a monetary bonus to your account of $0.05, $1, or $5. While the $1 and $5 bonuses are extremely rare, I get the $0.05 bonus fairly frequently, and that makes the surveys extremely profitable.Radio and Videos
Radio and Videos both pay pretty low, $0.01 each, with video ads lasting typically 1-2 minutes, and the radio awarding the cent for every 10 minutes that you listen. The radio is pretty interesting as you can choose between about 20 stations, and every 10 minutes or so a Captcha will pop-up. Correctly answer the Captcha and your account will be awarded $0.01. The stations are decent, but not great, and I typically listen while I'm at work. 40 hours per week at $0.06 per hour comes out to a bit more than $2 per week. Not the best pay, but it definitely adds up over time.Overall, Inbox Dollars may not be the quickest way to make a buck, but it's definitely a legitimate site with many different options for earning a little extra on the side.
